Yassin Harraz, an Egyptian visual artist and lecturer in the Painting Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, has been contributing to the Egyptian art scene since 1997. With a diploma in calligraphy, Harraz merges traditional and contemporary techniques to create vivid, expressive works inspired by Egypt’s natural and cultural landscapes. His art celebrates Egypt’s diverse environments, focusing on serene lakes and bustling ports, particularly Burullus Lake and Alexandria’s eastern port. His paintings juxtapose calm waters and vibrant boats with dynamic scenes of fishing and daily life, reflecting the beauty and complexity of these locations.

Harraz has participated in numerous exhibitions and symposiums, including the National Exhibition, Agenda Exhibition at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Luxor International Symposium, and Burullus Symposium. His works are part of prominent collections such as Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Ministry of Culture, and Gabel El-Teer Symposium in Minya, and they are held in private collections both in Egypt and internationally. Through his dedication to painting and education, Harraz continues to enrich Egypt's contemporary art landscape, blending local heritage with modern artistic vision.

ياسين حراز، فنان بصري مصري وأستاذ في قسم الرسم بكلية الفنون الجميلة، جامعة الإسكندرية، يساهم في الساحة الفنية المصرية منذ عام 1997. يحمل دبلومًا في الخط العربي، ويدمج بين التقنيات التقليدية والمعاصرة لخلق أعمال حية ومعبرة مستوحاة من المناظر الطبيعية والثقافية في مصر. يحتفل فن حراز بتنوع بيئات مصر، مع التركيز على البحيرات الهادئة والموانئ الحيوية، وخاصة بحيرة البرلس وميناء الإسكندرية الشرقي. تعكس لوحاته تباين المياه الهادئة والقوارب الملونة مع مشاهد ديناميكية للصيد والحياة اليومية، مما يجسد جمال وتعقيد هذه الأماكن.

شارك حراز في العديد من المعارض والندوات الفنية، بما في ذلك المعرض الوطني، معرض أجندة بمكتبة الإسكندرية، ندوة الأقصر الدولية، وندوة البرلس. توجد أعماله ضمن مجموعات مرموقة، مثل مكتبة الإسكندرية، وزارة الثقافة، وندوة جبل الطير في المنيا، بالإضافة إلى مجموعات خاصة داخل مصر وخارجها. من خلال التزامه بالرسم والتعليم، يواصل حراز إثراء المشهد الفني المعاصر في مصر، جامعًا بين التراث المحلي والرؤية الفنية الحديثة.
