  Mariam Dwidar, born in Cairo in 2000, is an emerging Egyptian sculptor whose work explores the emotional and cultural narratives embedded in sculptural forms. Currently a student at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Cairo, Mariam is dedicated to using sculpture as a medium for self-expression and artistic discovery.

Her passion for art is complemented by her love for travel and new experiences, which continuously inform her creative practice. Her sculptures demonstrate a dynamic interplay between form and emotion, showcasing her ability to translate personal and cultural stories into compelling three-dimensional works.

Mariam’s recent contributions to the art scene include her participation in exhibitions at Zahwa Art Gallery, where her work has garnered recognition. Notable pieces from her portfolio include The Resistant (2024), a polyester sculpture measuring 84cm in height, and Layla (2023), a Carrara marble sculpture showcasing her mastery of materials and form.

With her vibrant curiosity and commitment to evolving her craft, Mariam Dwidar is poised to make significant contributions to the field of contemporary sculpture, offering fresh perspectives and innovative expressions through her art.

مريم دويدار، وُلدت في القاهرة عام 2000، هي نحاتة مصرية ناشئة تستكشف السرد العاطفي والثقافي المدمج في الأشكال النحتية. حاليًا، هي طالبة في كلية الفنون الجميلة في الزمالك، القاهرة، ومكرسة لاستخدام النحت كوسيلة للتعبير عن الذات والاكتشاف الفني.

شغفها بالفن مكمل بحبها للسفر والتجارب الجديدة، التي تُغذي ممارستها الإبداعية باستمرار. تُظهر تماثيلها تفاعلًا ديناميكيًا بين الشكل والعاطفة، حيث تعرض قدرتها على ترجمة القصص الشخصية والثقافية إلى أعمال ثلاثية الأبعاد مثيرة.

من إسهامات مريم الأخيرة في الساحة الفنية مشاركتها في معارض في غاليري زهوا، حيث حصلت أعمالها على اعتراف كبير. من أبرز القطع في محفظتها "المقاوم" (2024)، تمثال من البوليستر بارتفاع 84 سم، و"ليلى" (2023)، تمثال من رخام كارارا يعرض إتقانها للمواد والشكل.

مع فضولها النابض بالحياة واهتمامها بتطوير حرفتها، من المتوقع أن تُسهم مريم دويدار بشكل كبير في مجال النحت المعاصر، مقدمةً رؤى جديدة وتعبيرات مبتكرة من خلال فنها.
