Farha El Samahy
Egyptian Sculptor | Special Effects Artist | Art Educator
Farha El Samahy is a dynamic Egyptian sculptor with a specialization in field and relief sculpting. Born and raised in Sheikh Zayed, she is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts with a degree in Sculpture, achieving excellence with honors in 2024. Farha's artistic journey extends beyond traditional sculpting, as she has also worked as a special effects makeup artist for film and television, contributing to productions such as Sitt Al-Hushushin and Welad Rizk.
Farha has participated in numerous art exhibitions, including the "Empower Her" Art Forum at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (2024), the "Fusion of Hope" at Zahwa Art Gallery (2024), and the Summer Art Festival at Odyssey Zamalek (2024). She has also showcased her works at venues like Droob Gallery, Mansoura Art Forum, and the Supreme Council of Culture’s “Their Creations” exhibition.
Her dedication to her craft has earned her prestigious awards, including first place in the Helwan Fine Arts Competition, the Omar Tosson Prize in the Talae Competition (2023), and the Ayda Abdel Karim Prize (2024). Farha's works are distinguished by their meticulous attention to detail and emotional resonance, combining innovative techniques with compelling storytelling.
فرحة الصماحي هي نحاتة مصرية ديناميكية متخصصة في النحت الميداني والنحت البارز. وُلدت وترعرعت في الشيخ زايد، وتخرجت من كلية الفنون الجميلة بدرجة في النحت، محققة التميز مع مرتبة الشرف في 2024. تمتد مسيرة فرحة الفنية إلى ما هو أبعد من النحت التقليدي، حيث عملت أيضًا كخبيرة مكياج تأثيرات خاصة للأفلام والتلفزيون، وساهمت في أعمال مثل "ست الحوشوشين" و"ولاد رزق".
شاركت فرحة في العديد من المعارض الفنية، بما في ذلك منتدى "تمكينها" الفني في المتحف الوطني للحضارة المصرية (2024)، ومعرض "اندماج الأمل" في غاليري زهوا (2024)، ومهرجان الفن الصيفي في أوديسي الزمالك (2024). كما عرضت أعمالها في أماكن مثل جاليري دروب، منتدى فنون المنصورة، ومعرض "إبداعاتهم" التابع للمجلس الأعلى للثقافة.
لقد أكسبتها تفانيها في حرفتها جوائز مرموقة، بما في ذلك المركز الأول في مسابقة الفنون الجميلة في حلوان، وجائزة عمر توسن في مسابقة طلائع (2023)، وجائزة عايدة عبد الكريم (2024). تتميز أعمال فرحة بالاهتمام الدقيق بالتفاصيل والتأثير العاطفي، حيث تجمع بين التقنيات المبتكرة وسرد القصص المؤثر.
