"Amid the Flowers" reflects artist Walid Gahin’s journey of self-exploration through painting. A decade after his exhibition "Romanticism Again", he returns to a theme of simplicity—figures immersed in flowers, symbolizing hope and transformation as he turns 50.
Gahin, a celebrated Egyptian artist and professor, has exhibited internationally for over 23 years. His work, held in major collections worldwide, explores themes of human connection, mythology, and identity. A founding member of the Finding Us collective, he has received prestigious awards, including South Korea’s National Art Award (2024) and the Grand Prize at the Tashkent Biennale (2013).
